The ultra high sensitive (UHS) assay is a technology used to detect specific mutations with very high sensitivity. We use a mutant allele-specific primer to selectively amplify a short mutant-specific amplicon. Multiplex PCR amplification is performed and MassARRAY iPLEX system is used for detection.
The use of a mutation-specific primer enables us to detect a very small amount of mutation through mutant-specific amplification, deriving a detection sensitivity of 0.01 ~ 0.1%.
CT-ULTRA is a wet-to-dry analysis pipeline to report variants information and recommend proper treatments using NGS technology and FDA-recognized clinical database. It can be suitable for the targeted panel for specific and highly sensitive detection of targeted ctDNA variations such as SNVs, Indels, and CNVs. And it can also be used to guide the optimal UHS panel design.
